BLOOM™ is a protein-rich algae biomass that blends with various compounds to produce a sustainable material durable and flexible enough to create a comfortable Zeroe shoe.
The farmed algae helps clean the air and remove pollution from the ocean. And since we no longer use the conventional fossil-fuel based materials for our shoes, we also reduce our negative impact on the atmosphere.

Recycled materials are used from the manufacturing of the shoes to the packaging.
The shoe boxes and eco-tote bags that you take home with you are all made from recycled materials.
More specifically, each eco-tote is made from 8 recycled plastic water bottles!
The entire Zeroe collection is Vegan Australia Ceritifed! All our products and the manufacturing process meet Vegan Australia Standards.
This means we do not use any materials derived from animals and hence, we're totally animal friendly!
Reduce, reuse, recycle!
We use recycled materials across all of our components wherever possible. From outsoles to upper materials, even our boxes. Recycled means less ending up in landfill.
The materials in some of our styles are water-based, meaning they completely avoid using harmful solvents and other nasties usually found in oil-based synthetics.
This unique kind of DMF-free material also reduces the energy consumption associated with the manufacturing of traditional PUs. And as we know, reduced energy consumption = reduced harmful exhaust fumes polluting the air!
The use of BLOOM™ paired with this water-based material naturally reduces our overall carbon footprint and reduces the chemical waste pollution.
